  • Application Filed: April 17, 2009
  • Assignees: STREAMEZZO (Paris, FR)
  • Claim: 1. Method for securing a changing scene consisting of at least one element and intended to be rendered on a terminal, comprising: creating at least one securement rule, defining at least one authorization for modifying at least one of a scene, at least one element of said scene, and one authorization for executing at least one command in a context of rendering said scene on a terminal; assigning a security policy, including at least one of said securement rules, to at least one of said scene and to at least one element of said scene.
  • Claim: 2. Securement method of claim 1, wherein said security policy is defined in a file or flow separate from a description file or flow of a changing scene.
  • Claim: 3. Securement method of claim 1, wherein said security policy is defined in a description file or flow of a changing scene.
  • Claim: 4. Securement method of claim 3, wherein said method further comprises: obtaining at least one item of identification information for at least one source capable of at least one of modifying a scene and of modifying a rendering context for said scene; associating, in said security policy, said at least one item of identification information with at least one securement rule of said security policy.
  • Claim: 5. Securement method of claim 4, wherein said elements are organised in a tree structure associating at least one parent element with at least one child element, and a security policy assigned to said parent element likewise applies, by default to said at least one child element.
  • Claim: 6. Securement method of claim 5, further comprising defining at least one group consisting of elements of said scene sharing a single security policy.
  • Claim: 7. Securement method of claim 6, wherein said modifications include at least one of: insertion of an element into said scene; modification of an element in said scene; deletion of an element from said scene; modification of an attribute in said scene; deletion of an attribute from said scene; modification of a security policy in said scene.
  • Claim: 8. Securement method of claim 7, wherein said securement rules include at least one item of information including at least one of: a restriction of applying a modification to one element of said scene; a restriction of applying a modification to a group of elements of said scene; a restriction of applying a modification to all of the elements of said scene of a predefined type; a restriction of applying a modification to a type of attributes of said scene; a restriction of applying a modification based on at least one predetermined criterion; a restriction of executing a command or a group of commands in a given context of said scene.
  • Claim: 9. Securement method of claim 8, wherein said identification information includes at least one of: an identifier; an IP address; a certificate used to sign content transmitted by said source.
  • Claim: 10. Securement method of claim 1, wherein said scene consists of at least one element and is intended to be rendered on a terminal, and further comprising: receiving at least one of an update request, originating with at least one of a source and a data transmission channel, for an element of said changing scene, a group of elements of said changing scene, or said entire changing seen; and a request to execute a command in a context of rendering said changing scene; accepting or refusing said at least one update request and said request to execute a command, based on a security policy assigned to said element, or to said group or said scene.
  • Claim: 11. Securement method of claim 10, further comprising identifying said source, and issuing an item of identification information, wherein said acceptance takes account of a security policy associated with said item of identification information.
  • Claim: 12. Securement method of claim 11, wherein said identification information is provided by a means of access to at least one of said update and said command.
  • Claim: 13. Securement method of claim 11, wherein said identification information is at least one of present in at least one of said update and said command, and transmitted with at least one of said update and said command.
  • Claim: 14. Securement method of claim 13, wherein said acceptance or refusal includes: decoding at least one of said update and said command; identifying a security policy associated with said element or with said group of elements or with said scene concerned by said update; verifying the presence of an association of said item of identification and of at least one securement rule corresponding to at least one of said decoded update and said command, in said security policy identified, thereby issuing a decision to accept at least one of said update and said command if said verification is positive.
  • Claim: 15. A tangible computer readable medium storing a changing scene, comprising: at least one element, wherein said changing scene is intended to be rendered on a terminal, and said tangible computer readable medium includes one securement field including at least one item of information representative of a security policy, including at least one securement rule defining at least one authorization to modify said element and/or said scene, so as to enable or prohibit, in said terminal, a modification requested by a source, based on said policy.
  • Claim: 16. Device for securing a changing scene consisting of at least one element and intended to be rendered on a terminal, comprising: means for creating at least one of at least one securement rule, defining at least one authorization to modify at least one of a scene and at least one element of said scene, and an authorization to execute at least one command in a context of rendering said scene on a terminal; means for assigning a security policy, including at least one of said securement rules, to at least one of said scene and at least one of said elements of said scene.
  • Claim: 17. Device for updating a changing scene, said scene consisting of at least one element and intended to be rendered on a terminal, comprising: means for receiving at least one of an update request, originating with at least one of a source and a data transmission channel, for an element of a changing scene, a group of elements of said changing scene, or said entire changing scene, and a request to execute a command in a context of rendering said changing scene; means for accepting or refusing at least one of said update request and said request to execute a command, based on a security policy assigned to said element, or to said group or said scene.
  • Claim: 18. Computer program product embodied on a tangible computer readable medium, comprising: creating at least one securement rule, defining at least one authorization for modifying at least one of a scene, at least one element of said scene, and one authorization for executing at least one command in a context of rendering said scene on a terminal; assigning a security policy, including at least one of said securement rules, to at least one of said scene and to at least one element of said scene.
  • Claim: 19. Computer program product embodied on a tangible computer readable medium, comprising: receiving at least one of an update request, originating with at least one of a source and a data transmission channel, for an element of said changing scene, a group of elements of said changing scene, or said entire changing scene, and a request to execute a command in a context of rendering said changing scene; accepting or refusing said at least one update request and said request to execute a command, based on a security policy assigned to said element, or to said group or said scene.
