  • Claim: 1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium including instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to: establish bidirectional communication, through a communication module, with a controller for an inflatable medical implant device having a fluid reservoir, pump and at least one inflatable medical implant; receive patient and implant data from the inflatable medical implant device, the implant data including fluid transfer amounts, pump pressure, pump transfer speed, and pump operating time, monitor operation of the inflatable medical implant device based on the received patient and implant data; provide control signals to the controller for the inflatable medical implant device, the control signals including inflation parameters and changes in pump pressure and pump rate; and analyze the received patient and implant data to determine patient trends and operation status of the inflatable medical implant device.
  • Claim: 2. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 1 , further including instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: analyze the determined operation status of the inflatable medical implant device and determine when a condition of the device indicates the inflatable medical implant device may fail.
  • Claim: 3. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 1 , further including instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: analyze the determined patient trends and provide control signals to the controller for the inflatable medical implant to adjust settings of the inflatable medical implant based on the determined patient trends.
  • Claim: 4. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 1 , wherein providing control signals includes providing control signals to vary the fluid transfer amount and pump transfer speed based on time of day.
  • Claim: 5. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 1 , further including instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: analyze the received pump operating time and pump pressure data to determine a minimum pump pressure at which to set the pump.
