  • Claim: 1. A method for performing sidelink (SL) transmission by a first device, the method comprising: receiving, from a base station, control information including information regarding a first timing offset related to a minimum latency and information regarding a second timing offset related to activation of a SL semi persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration; and performing long-term evolution (LTE) SL transmission based on the control information, wherein a start time of the LTE SL transmission is based on (i) the first timing offset, (ii) the second timing offset, (iii) a timing advance between downlink and uplink, and (iv) a time when the first device detects the control information.
  • Claim: 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first device is not allowed to perform the LTE SL transmission earlier than the start time.
  • Claim: 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: obtaining the minimum latency related to the first timing offset based on a capability of the first device; and transmitting, to the base station, a user equipment (UE) capability information message including information regarding the minimum latency.
  • Claim: 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the UE capability information message is a radio resource control (RRC) message.
  • Claim: 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the start time of the LTE SL transmission is obtained as: [mathematical expression included] wherein T 1 is the time when the first device detects the control information, and NTA is the timing advance between downlink and uplink, and T 2 is a basic time unit, and X is the first timing offset, and m is the second timing offset.
  • Claim: 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the LTE SL transmission including physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) transmission and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission.
  • Claim: 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the start time is further based on a value obtained by multiplying a basic time unit by the timing advance between downlink and uplink divided by two.
  • Claim: 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the control information further includes index information of the SL SPS configuration and information representing activation or release of the SL SPS configuration.
  • Claim: 9. The method of claim 8 , wherein, based on the information representing activation of the SL SPS configuration, the first device is not allowed to perform the LTE SL transmission earlier than the start time.
  • Claim: 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein, based on the information representing activation of the SL SPS configuration, the LTE SL transmission is performed based on the control information, except that the LTE SL transmission starts no earlier than the start time.
  • Claim: 11. A first device adapted to perform sidelink (SL) transmission, the first device comprising: at least one transceiver; at least one processor; and at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: receiving, from a base station, control information including information regarding a first timing offset related to a minimum latency and information regarding a second timing offset related to activation of a SL semi persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration; and performing long-term evolution (LTE) SL transmission based on the control information, wherein a start time of the LTE SL transmission is based on (i) the first timing offset, (ii) the second timing offset, (iii) a timing advance between downlink and uplink, and (iv) a time when the first device detects the control information.
  • Claim: 12. The first device of claim 11 , wherein the first device is not allowed to perform the LTE SL transmission earlier than the start time.
  • Claim: 13. The first device of claim 11 , wherein the operations further comprise obtaining the minimum latency related to the first timing offset based on a capability of the first device, and transmitting, to the base station, a user equipment (UE) capability information message including information regarding the minimum latency.
  • Claim: 14. The first device of claim 11 , wherein the start time of the LTE SL transmission is obtained as: [mathematical expression included] wherein T 1 is the time when the first device detects the control information, and N TA is the timing advance between downlink and uplink, and T 2 is a basic time unit, and X is the first timing offset, and m is the second timing offset.
  • Claim: 15. The first device of claim 11 , wherein the start time is further based on a value obtained by multiplying a basic time unit by the timing advance between downlink and uplink divided by two.
  • Claim: 16. A processing device adapted to control a first device performing sidelink (SL) transmission, the processing device comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: receiving, from a base station, control information including information regarding a first timing offset related to a minimum latency and information regarding a second timing offset related to activation of a SL semi persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration; and performing long-term evolution (LTE) SL transmission based on the control information, wherein a start time of the LTE SL transmission is based on (i) the first timing offset, (ii) the second timing offset, (iii) a timing advance between downlink and uplink, and (iv) a time when the first device detects the control information.
