  • Claim: 1. A method performed in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the method performed by a transmitting station (STA) and comprising: generating a physical protocol data unit (PPDU); and transmitting the PPDU through an 80 MHz band, wherein the PPDU includes a Long Training Field (LTF) signal, wherein the LTF signal is generated based on the LTF sequence for the 80 MHz band, wherein the LTF sequence is defined as follows: [table included]
  • Claim: 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the PPDU further includes a universal-signal (U-SIG) field.
  • Claim: 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the PPDU further includes a legacy-signal (L-SIG) field and a L-SIG (RL-SIG) field that is a repetition of the L-SIG field.
  • Claim: 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the LTF sequence is mapped from the lowest tone having a tone index −500 to the highest tone having a tone index 500.
  • Claim: 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the LTF sequence is a 4×LTF sequence.
  • Claim: 6. A transmitting station (STA) used in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the transmitting STA comprising: a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a radio signal; and a processor coupled to the transceiver, the processor is adapted to: generate a physical protocol data unit (PPDU); and transmit the PPDU through an 80 MHz band, wherein the PPDU includes a Long Training Field (LTF) signal, wherein the LTF signal is generated based on the LTF sequence for the 80 MHz band, wherein the LTF sequence is defined as follows: [table included]
  • Claim: 7. The transmitting STA of claim 6 , wherein the PPDU further includes a universal-signal (U-SIG) field.
  • Claim: 8. The transmitting STA of claim 6 , wherein the PPDU further includes a legacy-signal (L-SIG) field and a L-SIG (RL-SIG) field that is a repetition of the L-SIG field.
  • Claim: 9. The transmitting STA of claim 6 , wherein the LTF sequence is mapped from the lowest tone having a tone index −500 to the highest tone having a tone index 500.
  • Claim: 10. The transmitting STA of claim 6 , wherein the LTF sequence is a 4× LTF sequence.
  • Claim: 11. A receiving station (STA) used in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the receiving STA comprising: a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a radio signal; and a processor coupled to the transceiver, the processor is adapted to: receive a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) through an 80 MHz band; and decode the PPDU, wherein the PPDU includes a Long Training Field (LTF) signal, wherein the LTF signal is generated based on the LTF sequence for the 80 MHz band, wherein the LTF sequence is defined as follows: [table included]
