The article discusses the installation of the driven-pile anchors for the spar platforms of Murphy Oil's Kikeh. A Menck MHU 500T hammer was used to perform the installation because, according to Menck, no other system can operate at a depth of over 1,300 meters. Although the projects was said to have encountered challenges, such as shortage of space and the lifting equipment on the boat, the project was said to have been a complete success. Also, Menck was said to support its sister company, InterMoor, on the fields of Shell Brasil's Parque das Conchas.
