Introduce the development history of coal water mixture (CWM) for gasification at home and abroad. Investigate the influence of classified grinding high concentration CWM preparation process, developed by the National CWM Engineering and Technology Center, on CWM concentration improvement and CWM gasification technologies development. Taking one anthracite as experimental coal sample, compare traditional method and classified grinding high concentration CWM preparation method. The results show that, the concentration of CWM compared by the former is 62 percent, while the latter is 65 percent. Conduct the thermo-balance test by changing the particle size and adding catalyst. Analyze the weight loss and weight loss rate of CWM samples. The test proves that, the gasification reactivity of coal sample can be improved by certain methods. Analyse the feasibility of low volatile coal to CWM for gasification combined with industrial practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
