The cooperative and participatory development of concepts, processes and spaces is becoming increasingly important for libraries. For library teams as well as for administrations it is vital that participatory processes can be initiated in easy ways regarding time and money. The article addresses this question and shows how the use of simulation games can lead to constructive solutions. Furthermore, it presents the "hochdrei – vision game" provided by the German Federal Cultural Foundation – a digital tool to design a simulation game specifically for libraries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
