The article focuses on the digital project of the Italian Women Library (IWL) in Bologna, Italy that will highlight special historical collections related to feminism. It states that the library has more than 40,000 books and 495 periodicals, which include the political movements and other activities of women in the history. It says that the context of Europe will also be reflected in the digital library collections. It further mentions that the project, which aims to preserve women's documents and provide easy access to researchers, is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture. Moreover, it adds that the European Union's (EU's) Quality in Gender (QUING) project will focus and research on gender equality frames.
