The author discusses a study published within the issue which described two patients abnormal immunoglobulin G (IgG) production in the central nervous system. Topics include cases of leukodystrophy with cysts and calcifications in three unrelated children reported in 1996, the reason for the increase in IgG, case of a patient which showed how the leukodystrophy, and cerebral calcifications and cysts (LCC) can evolved with a rapid and lethal worsening.
